Unexpected

While waiting for my dentist :) It's quite sunny as you can see.

When I got home at around 2:00 pm, my Nanie (grandmother) said she wants me to come with her to Mega for her check-up, her doctor will start her consultations at 4:00 pm but she's always late so we thought of checking in at 5. I immediately thought that i'll be spending time with her looking around after her appointment. But what was ahead of us was definitely not included in my plans!

We left our house at around 3:30 pm, and it was so traffic! I can't imagine why it will be traffic at that time, then I remembered that it's friday nga pala. So we arrived at 4:30, and when we were given the number for her doctor, we are the 20th! We ended up being accomodated at 7:30 pm. Whoo, that was tiring, just sitting there with your iTouch as your only saver. We ate at KFC afterwards, it's already late so our plan of looking around was not accomplished. When we're heading out already, the line in the Taxi Bay was excruciating! We have no choice coz' it's raining, but not that hard. It took us almost 1 and a half hour to get a taxi. When we arrived at home (at last!), my lil' brother is super hyper so I just played with him through the camera :)

PAPA :''>

I went to my dentist this afternoon and on my way home, when I was riding the jeep, I don't know what am thinking but I suddenly looked at the driver. A new passenger suddenly came up then nagbayad siya when he already sat at the back of the driver's seat. Just then, I noticed that there is a little girl beside the driver, probably his daughter. When the little girl reached out her hand to get the money from the passenger and was about to put it on the money box, the driver suddenly pulled her then kissed her forehead. Both of them smiled at each other then the driver continued looking ahead. I suddenly had goosebumps, I was so touched :) 

I realized that it's been a while since I last said "I Love You" to my Papa. I'm a bit teary-eyed when I looked away from the little girl because I remembered how sweet I am before with my Papa when I was in her age. Most people say that fathers are closer to their sons, that may be true but still, fathers give different attention when it comes to their daughters. They may not be sweet at times, but hey, boys are always like that. They love you but they don't usually know how to express themselves. So when your dad would do simple things, appreciate it because it may have taken a lot of courage from him to do that.

1st Semestral Break ☺

Today is the start of my FIRST EVER Semestral Break! You are not mistaken, it's my FIRST because my school when I was in elementary and high school (up until now actually, i'm going to the same school) only allows College students to have it. 

I'm pretty much excited kasi finally, I can be stress-free from schoolworks. But, I still have to face my responsibilities as an Ate to my lil' bro ;) Since I don't have classes anymore and my mom is in a graveyard shift, I will be the one preparing him for school every morning then I would pick him up after 2 hours (he's just in Kinder in case you're wondering). 

My class would resume on Oct. 24 so I'll be having a break for just 2 weeks :| 

Anyway, I just spent the whole day inside the house with my lil bro on the laptop and me beside him, draining my ipod :))) Haven't had the chance to take photos, too lazy to get up  :)  

You'll be hearing from me maybe everyday, since I don't have anything else to do. Til' next :*

     After a lifetime of waiting, we finally got our yearbooks! We've been looking forward on this since July so we can have an excuse for our parents to go out on a weekday. We can have the reason that we don't see each other much so we would spend time with each other and that simply means, we will go home late :D But since it's almost the end of the semester, most of us were not able to come due to their hectic schedules :(

    After getting this, we decided to eat at KFC. Our favorite hang-out during our high school days kasi it's walking distance from our school and my guy friends love the fact that you can get gravy as much as you like. Aww, HIGH SCHOOL DAYS :''''''>

Pedring :|| Whole day w/o electricity.

With my title, you should have guessed already what this will be all about. Imagine staying inside the house while it's raining cats and dogs outside with the ff:

* Almost lowbat phone

* Half charged iTouch

* No electricity!!!!!

Well that's right, there is no electricity from the time i woke up until 8pm. It may sound absurd for some people but the heck, it was really getting to my nerves everytime both my phone and ipod would pop a lowbat sign!

Nevertheless, i just slept the whole afternoon and when i woke up, my ipod is surprisingly not yet dead! So i hit the shuffle button in my senti playlist and tah-dah! I end up remembering memories shared with random people everytime a new song would start to play :) I have proven that it's relaxing just listening to music whenever it's raining to calm your nerves.

I also came to the conclusion that despite my imperfections, i shouldn't let insecurity get to me because i have people by my side that loves me just the way i am :"> It may sound cheesy but it's what i felt during that time.

When the electricity came to life, i watched the news immediately. I was shocked that almost the whole metro manila was in the same situation and some are even in worse. I realize that i should have stopped complaining about having no electricity and be thankful that there's no harm done to my family during the typhoon.
